Wesley Milner

June 21, 1939 — September 14, 2025

Wesley L."Skip" Milner, 86, of Three Forks, Montana, passed away on September 14, 2025. He passed at dawn peacefully in the comfort of his home, finishing out his race well. Born on June 21, 1939 in Missoula, MT, to Harley & Dorris Milner, Skip grew up with his two brothers in Wenatchee, Washington.

Skip was trained and worked as a carpenter before he graduated from barber college in Seattle, Washington. He met Geraldine McLees in 1963, married her in 1965, and was faithful to her for 60 years. He loved serving the community of Three Forks at Skip's Barber Shop; he did so for 53 years, making him one of, if not the, longest running business owner in Three Forks Main Street history. He then passed the building onto what we now know as The Shoppe Pastry and Coffeehouse, receiving its name in his honor. In addition to the town barber, Skip was also the Three Forks Schools' Head of Maintenance for many years, taking great pride in his service to multiple generations of his community's children.

Skip was known for his hilariously blunt disposition, his sparkling smile & large, cheerful giggle, and his devotion to the Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, his family, church, beloved customers and his coffee-drinking fellows.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Geri, his daughters, Becky (Richard) Larson & Nancy (Lynn) Todd, his sons James Milner & Alan Harris, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Bob. He was predeceased in death by his father, Harley, mother, Doris, his brother, Charlie, and grandson, Chad.

Services will be held at the Three Forks Christian Center on Thursday, September 18th. Public viewing available at 10:00 am. Memorial service at 11:00 am.

Skip's generosity, kindness and love for his neighbor will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
