Obituary

Rosalie Ellen Norris

Rosalie Ellen Norris went home to be with her Lord and beloved husband on July 20, 2026. She will be deeply missed by her family and countless friends.

Rose was born on July 4, 1950, in Everett, Washington, to Carl and Lillian Barham. She was the second-born among her siblings, Carl Jr., Robert, and Gracie.

Rose graduated from Chula Vista High School, where she met and fell in love with her husband, Jim. Together, they raised four sons: Jimmy, Jason, Jeremiah, and Jake.

Her family brought her immense joy and countless wonderful memories. Rose enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life, including motorcycling, crocheting, painting, ceramics, reading from her extensive book collection, participating in clown club, creating dolls, and, of course, forever winning at card games with family and friends. She found fulfillment in so many of life's simple pleasures. Her favorite holidays were Christmas and Halloween, as she especially loved creating costumes for her family.

Rose was also a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she enjoyed serving others and playing bingo. She was a strong and resilient soul who possessed a love and kindness for everyone in her life that words can hardly express.

Rose is survived by her brothers and sister; her four sons; her grandchildren, James, Molly, and Lucas; her daughters-in-law, Natalie and Desiree; as well as her many family friends, affectionately known as the "Weekend Norris's."

The impact Rose made and the example she set each day will forever remain deeply ingrained in the hearts and minds of the countless people whose lives were touched and forever improved by her boundless love.

A memorial service for Rose will be held on August 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 601 5th Ave E, Three Forks, MT 59752. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Three Forks.
