Patricia Carol Thompson

December 13, 1947 — January 24, 2026

Patricia Carol Thompson, 78, of Ennis Montana, passed away on January 24th, 2026. Carol was born to James Shaver and Anna Reels on December 13th, 1947, in Brotherton TN.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years Ward Thompson, two daughters Tammy Slayton of Helena and Lucinda Flinn of Ennis, her sister Fay Martin of Rickman, TN, 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Preceded in death by her parents, niece, and 2 great grandchildren.

Carol served her community in several ways over the years and was known for being a hard-working, dedicated employee, several times being noted for her outstanding work ethic and attention to detail. She didn't like being the center of attention, but deserves to have her integrity, kindness and generosity noted as they have made a lasting impact on so many lives.

When asked, Carol said some of her favorite memories were times that she spent with family and loved ones. She mentioned dune buggy trips into the mountains & sand dunes, Wednesday dinners with friends, driving cross country to visit her sister in TN, friends in AZ and AR and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren in OH and across MT. She reflected on holiday celebrations at the Copper King Mansion with a large group of family. Among fond memories of rafting and canoe rides on the Smith & Madison Rivers (she even floated the bear trap), listening to local bluegrass bands in Polson and Saturday evening Pinochle at the local senior center.

Per her wishes there will be no Funeral services
