"There are some who bring a light so bright to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains"

Kenneth Earl Sciuchetti, 81, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024 with his loving wife, Connie by his side. He was born December 6, 1942, in Great Falls, Montana to Severino and Pauline (Miles) Sciuchetti. Little Kenny was so smart and outgoing, he got to skip kindergarten and go straight to 1st grade as a 5-year-old...even back then he was gonna beat you there.

Ken attended Great Falls Catholic School until the 10th grade. Due to a little mishap with the head priest, he finished high school at Great Falls High. (If you know you know) He was an amazing scholar and incredible athlete.

Ken was a hard worker and never missed a day on his paper route as a young boy. He kept enough money to buy his Lucky Strikes and gave the rest to his mom to help his family get by. Ken started working at Albertson's at age 15. He left there temporarily when he was drafted into the SIGNAL CORP (highest level of top-secret clearance) department of the Army during the Vietnam War. Ken was so smart they stationed him in Germany to decode and encode messages...and to drink lots of really good beer.

Ken was honorably discharged in 1968 and couldn't wait to get back to his job at Albertson's. He met Connie Killion in June of 1969 and the couple married November 8, 1969 in Great Falls where they resided.

Ken's position as store director at Albertson's moved the family to Bozeman in 1974. Ken fell in love with the Montana State Bobcats while he lived there. He even got to attend the Bobcats 2nd National Championship win in 1976...it was a dream come true for him.

The family moved back to Great Falls in 1979 and he retired from Albertson's in 1984 after 25 years of incredible service and growth.

Ken moved his family of 5 to Ennis, Montana in November of 1984 to begin his dream of owning his own grocery store. He and Connie were the proud owners of KC'S Market! First thing he did was throw away his neckties and grew a terrible mustache (you couldn't have facial hair in the corporate world).

The day the family pulled into Ennis you could hear a football game going on in the distance...Ennis was playing Savage in a semifinal game. We believe that

was the moment he became the most devoted Mustang fan EVER! He didn't get to watch the Mustangs that day but he rarely missed a game thereafter. His love for Ennis Schools took him all over the state cheering proudly for the Mustangs. The best years of his life were spent cheering on his kids and grandkids wherever they went in sports and academics. He was always their biggest fan! As we are sure he told you all any chance he got.

Ken and Connie owned and operated KC'S Market for 13 years before they took on a business partner and built Madison Foods in 1997. When the business partner left, Ken stayed on as manager until he retired in 2011.

Ken's other passion was serving the Ennis Lion's Club! He joined the club in 1987 and served as president 3 times in his 37 years of dedication to the Club and the Ennis Community. Lion Ken was devoted to all the many projects and activities the Lion's hosted to make our community a better place. The Ennis Lion's Club was one of his true pride and joys. There's no telling how many hundreds of miles he walked around the walking path in the beautiful Lions Club Park.

You would be hard pressed to find a person who was more proud of his children, his grandchildren, Ennis Schools, the Ennis Lion's Club and the Ennis Community more then Kenny did. He rarely missed a game, birthday, concert, play, holiday, graduation, birth, wedding or milestone in any of his families lives. AND he NEVER missed an opportunity to tell you "He loved you" out loud with his famous smile. You might also be hard pressed to find a person who could slap a keno machine button harder or faster then he could....which he loved to do in is spare time as well.

Ken is survived by his wife, Connie, his daughter Cindy (Mike) McKitrick, son Scott (Traci) Sciuchetti, Granddaughter Madyson (Michael) Speck, grandson Braydon (Elise) McKitrick, Granddaughter Baylee (Kyler) Elliott, Grandson Tyler Sciuchetti, and great grandchildren Macoy, Macade, Mia, Waylon and Berklee. ALL OF ENNIS.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents Pauline and Severino Sciuchetti, his son Doug Sciuchetti, his brother Bob Sciuchetti, his sister Vivian (John) Harrington and his brother Raymond (Mary) Sciuchetti.

The family would like to thank the Madison Valley Manor and the Madison Valley Medical Center staff, especially the nurses and aides, for the incredible love and care they gave dad these past months. Because of them he died peacefully with dignity and grace.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers that you please consider making a donation to the Ennis Lion's Club at P.O. Box 383 and the Ennis Booster Club at

P.O. Box 1073
