Outside of her professional achievements, Katharine found simple and profound joy in the companionship of her beloved cats, whom she cherished deeply. Katharine had a love for Corvettes Katharine fulfilled her greatest wish/desire when she was able to get her own 500HP corvette. Her license plate read "INDY4K". Everyone called her Kay, the "4K" part of it referred to herself. The "INDY" did not refer to Indianapolis it stands for "I'm Not Dead Yet".
