Jeanine Babcock

Jeanine Marie Babcock,69 of Shepherd, MT, passed away at home, surrounded by her family on July 7, 2025. She was born on December 2, 1955, in Butte, MT, to John Ferriter and Patricia Beers. Gigi was raised with a strong sense of family values and work ethic. She married the love of her life, Wayne Babcock, on April 19th,1970. Together they built a life together and raised three daughters, Shannon, Melissa, and Sara. Nephew Chris Davidson also lived under her care. Gigi was a devoted wife, mother,

grandmother, caregiver, and friend. She had an unmatched ability to love with both softness and strength. Her tough love shaped and supported those lucky to know her. Gigi was dependable in caring for the chores of feeding, watering, and healing for all animals.

She showed the same devotion she gave to everyone in her life. Whether or not the time of day mattered not. She took pride in working and in keeping a warm and welcoming home. A favorite pastime was keeping up with yard and mowing on her John Deere lawnmower. A fresh cup of coffee and fresh air were among her simple joys.

Jeanine's Memory will be cherished by her husband of 55 years, Wayne Babcock, and her daughters Shannon (Mick) of Absarokee, Melissa Babcock of Fargo, Sara (Sundance) of Billings, Chris of Buffalo, brother and sister Jack of Helena, and Jolee of Missoula. She has 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents who had cared for her and her brother, Rich and Evelyn Beers. Jeanine will be missed by all for the love and strength she gave to all that knew her.
