Edie Travis Cox

Edie Travis Cox, 76, left us on December 16, 2025, to enter his heavenly home,

welcomed by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born in Weatherford, Texas,

and grew up in Ft Worth, Texas.

Edie worked many years in the health club industry, keeping fitness a priority in

his life. He taught physical education and math at the Hillier School in Highland Park,

Texas. He and his wife ventured to Montana at the end of 2005 to own and operate

Riverside Cottages in Gardiner. He met interesting people from all over the world,

which delighted his sense of adventure. He lived life "big", and he and his wife had

many adventures and travel experiences.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary J. Cox, his father, Claude W.

Cox, his daughter, Tiffany Renee Pawley, as well as aunts and uncles. He is survived

by his wife, Laura Cox, son, Brandon Cox, daughter Kristen Cox, his brother and wife,

Randy and Ruth Cox, grandchildren, Zachary Cox, MacKenzie Pawley, Avery Cone,

Brayden Cone, and Nicole Cox, nieces Caitlyn Dawson (husband Michael), Camryn

Tyler (husband Clayton), and great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held for the immediate family in McAllister, Montana.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers you make a donation to a charity of your

choice.
