Dorma R. Hebel

Dorma Hebel passed peacefully in her home June 25, 2024, at the age of 86 with her family by her side.

Dorma was the youngest of seven children; born to Weldon and Ruth Hyatt March 12, 1938, in Ovando, MT.

She went to grade school and middle school in Ovando and Deer Lodge, MT. She graduated from high school from Spokane High School.

She met and married Thomas R. Miller from McAllister, December 15, 1956. They moved to McAllister, where they raised their four children. She later went on to marry Rolland Hebel of McAllister.

If Dorma wasn't in her garden, you could find her fishing in the creek or playing cards with her family and friends. She loved going to the draft horse shows with Rolland, dancing, and was on the bowling league for many years and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Rolland Hebel and Thomas Miller, and five brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her sister Lavonna Bays, her children, Connie Hertel, Debra (Steven) Sartain, Thomas Miller Jr (Jeannie), Joy (Jay) Fiedor, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her feet were tapping to the music until the very end! Until we meet again, know we love you.

Funeral service will be held at the Madison Valley Baptist Church in Ennis, July 6, at 2 p.m. followed by burial at the McAllister cemetery and a potluck reception at Dorma's house in McAllister. We asked that you bring a side dish or dessert.
