Clyde William (Mickey) Brunzell passed away on the evening of May 18 at The Tobacco Root Mountain Care Center in Sheridan.
He was born in Sundance, Wyo on June 29, 1943 to William and Alice Brunzell.
He grew up on the family ranch in the Upper Ruby, and those days of wading the river to get to school and digging up the countryside looking for gold remained some his happiest memories.
As an adult he did some wandering around MT, WYO, and ID doing everything from making potato chips to herding sheep before he finally returned to the Sheridan area for good.
Despite his physical challenges through the years his attitude and adaptivity ensured that he lived life to the fullest.
He considered the care center his home and many of the staff and residents there part of his family.
He was preceded in death by his father William Brunzell and his mother Alice Brunzell.
He is survived by his sister Marie (Robert) Davis, brother Jim (Laura) Brunzell, sister Jeanette Lanphear, numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Pallbearers are Dan Cook, Billy Maloney, Tim Kent, Sam Maloney, Bob Davis, and Aaron Davis.
Services will be at K & L Mortuary in Sheridan at 2 pm on May 28th, followed by burial at Taylor Cemetary in Alder. A luncheon will be held at the Baptist Church in Sheridan following.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Jackson's Garden in Sheridan.
