Carolyn J. Cook, age 81, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026.

Born on December 12, 1944, to Clyde and Elieen Cook, Carolyn lived a life defined by dedication, strength, and service. From an early age, she demonstrated a deep sense of responsibility and commitment to others-qualities that would guide her throughout her life.

Carolyn proudly served her country in the United States Army for 20 years. Her military career reflected her steadfast character, resilience, and unwavering patriotism. She carried the values of honor and duty with her long after her years of service, earning the respect and admiration of those who knew her.

Carolyn will be remembered for her quiet strength, her devotion to her family and friends, and the example she set through a life of service. Her presence will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Carolyn is survived by her siblings Boonie Cook, Virginia Barnes and Kenny Cook.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Meadowview Cemetery in Manhattan, Montana.

In honoring Carolyn's life, family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and gratitude for the years she gave so selflessly to others. There will be a gathering of light refreshments at the Methodist Church annex following the service.
